One process, one point of contact, start to finish.
Design-build means you don’t coordinate an architect, a builder and a dozen trades yourself. Cornerstone carries all of it, and Mark is the one you call.
Conversation
Sit down with Mark. Talk through your land (or the search for it), how you live, your timeline and a realistic budget.
No costSite visit
Walk the land together: sun, views, slope, access, utilities and what the county will require.
Design
Shape a plan that fits the lot and the way your family lives, priced as it’s drawn so there’s no surprise later.
Plan & price
A clear scope, schedule and budget, plus permits, before ground is broken.
Build & beyond
Regular walkthroughs with Mark, a final walkthrough together, and a builder who still answers after move-in.
What people ask before they build.
What’s the advantage of design-build?
One team carries your home from first sketch to final walkthrough. The design is priced as it’s drawn, so you don’t fall in love with a plan you can’t afford, and there’s one person accountable when questions come up.
Who will actually be on my build?
Mark leads every Cornerstone home himself. The trades are a small circle of vetted partners he has worked with for years, not whoever is available that week.
Do I need to own land first?
No. Many people start the conversation while they’re still looking. Mark can walk a lot with you before you buy and tell you what it will take to build there.
How do you keep a project on budget?
By pricing the design as it develops and agreeing a clear scope before construction. Changes happen; when they do, you’ll know the cost before the work, not after.
How long does a custom home take?
You’ll get a schedule up front and regular updates throughout.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. Cornerstone handles the plans and permits with the county as part of the process.
